For seminary students, we offer support, education and ordination as an Independent, Interfaith or merging Christian Minister. We are open to all faiths and perspectives. Our purpose is to promote compassion and respect for our members and the wider world by encouraging Interfaith dialogue and understanding. As such, we invite our ministers, students and visitors to join in and share our desire to support and create a more peaceful world.
Why is it that all of the world's great religions hold "love" as its core belief and basic message, and yet, that message gets lost on a daily basis? We invite you to join our efforts to overcome prejudice, hatred, intolerance, anger, sadness and grief through the promotion of the power of love in action. To manifest this vision, we must first confront and acknowledge the core belief of fear deep within and overcome it. But how?
The Peace of God Chapel offers an opportunity for members and visitors to explore these questions and more, and to gain direction and insight into the power of the miracles that love provides.
We warmly welcome you to our community and look forward to a long, loving, supportive and rewarding relationship with you.
The Peace of God Chapel is a nonprofit organization, established in the State of Maryland.
